Missions from VBC

As the Lord Jesus commanded us, we seek to make disciples for him locally, regionally, and internationally. VBC has many local outreaches to share the love and gospel of Jesus Christ. Our Radical Group organizes many local outreaches while our missions committee guides us in giving, praying, and going regionally and internationally.​

You may see us providing meals for the law and pharmacy school students, hosting cruise-ins, handing out free watermelons, or cooking and delivering over 100 meals every month to the elderly and shut-ins in our community in order to share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. 

We've had mission partnerships in Madagascar, Trinidad, Guatamala, Bay St. Louis, and Washington D.C. We are currently praying about and in talks with missionaries and local pastors about a partnership in Romania. 

In addition to praying for missions and going on mission, we choose to give a portion of our offerings to the Cooperative program of the Southern Baptist Convention which funds the International Mission Board, the North American Mission Board, and six Southern Baptist seminaries that train pastors and missionaries.
